Albert D. Brown (Al) is the Chaplain for Spirit Riders which meets every Thursday night in the dining room of the activities building. Meetings begin at 7:20pm with the exception of the third Thursday night which is a dinner meeting at 6:30 followed by the regular meeting. Meetings provide an informal worship experience with music by Jim Needler & Friends. Nine people have been baptized and many lives changed.
Spirit Riders have volunteered with the Habitat House, Central Park cleanup & some volunteer regularly in the Christian Social Ministries. They have participated in a parade & various activities at Walnut Street.
Spirit began Nov. 3, 2005 with 16 present; nearly 600 different guests have attended meetings. Everyone is welcome!
Al is a graduate of Boyce Bible School where he was president of the student body, he has served as pastor of churches in MO, IN, & KY.
