Family Ministries

From Old Testament to New, the Bible is clear about the importance of family in the discipling of children. For too long, the church has taken the role of raising children spiritually. At Walnut Street, we desire to Empower, Equip, and Encourage parents to be the primary spiritual leaders in the lives of their children. We firmly believe that parents have infinitely more opportunities to impact their children for Christ than the church ever will. By offering, classes, training, and encouraging parents to be actively involved in both children and student ministries, we hope to come alongside parents in making disciples of Christ. For those children whose parents are not involved in church or in a relationship with Christ, we will always strive to surround them with loving adults who will model what it means to be a man or woman of God.
